The Tempest

Students in our Drama Club recently performed their rendition of Shakespeare's The Tempest to the whole school.

The actors were charismatic and comedic, producing a number of laughs from the children and staff watching the show. They did a fantastic job, bringing one of Shakespeare's famous plays to life.

Mrs Venter, Assistant Headteacher of All Faiths, said a few words at the end of the performance, saying "This is the part where we shout for an encore, we want more! That was absolutely fabulous! I had to blink when everyone started clapping as I was beginning to think I was in the West End theatre not in All Faiths Children's Academy.

You have all done a brilliant job. I know you have put in a lot of hard work, most of it in your own time. Well done to Mrs Wilkinson and everyone involved, let's give them another round of applause."

Following this, students were encouraged produced work inspired by the performance for their Tempest Exhibition, taking place on Thursday 9th February, which parents were invited to enjoy.

Well done to the staff and students involved, it was a joyfully comedic show which was enjoyed by everyone in attendance.
