All children bring books home every day to read to, or with you. It is vital that you read to your child, no matter their age.

Homework supports classroom learning and covers a range of subjects and tasks. As children become older, it will gradually increase. By Year 6, they will be given homework several times a week. As well as increasing their opportunity to learn, an established homework routine is good preparation for Secondary School.

A long term homework project is set three times a year. These practical tasks are designed for your child to do with an adult. We hope you will enjoy them and welcome your feedback. Thinking homework, again for all the family to share, is set every two weeks.
